I’m Fran. My husband, our two young boys, and I have called this community home for over a decade. We love the place and its’ people. We’ve chosen Welsh language education for our children a Dw i’n dysgu Cymraeg.
I believe in really listening to what you have to say because it’s your insights that will steer our efforts to make things better for our community.

With your backing, I’m keen to dive into the issues close to our hearts. Whether it’s giving our schools a boost or keeping our green spaces safe, I’m all in. And with Cllr Simon Jones by my side, I’m sure we can make a real impact.

Our mountain and farms mean the world to me. It’s all about keeping that balance – cherishing the nature around us while also supporting our local farmers. I’m here to ensure we all work together towards a future where our community stays as beautiful as it is today.
I’m passionate about making sure our children get the best education possible. Welsh Labour led Flintshire council’s £1.5 million boost for Brynford School is only part of our commitment to education up here. Every school matters, and I’ll fight to make sure they have what they need to help our children shine.
We’ve all seen how tough the weather can be on our roads. I’m on it – from fixing potholes to making sure our drains keep up with the rain. And nobody should be stuck at home because they can’t catch a bus. Safe, roads and reliable public transport are on my list.
